Top tips on what to wear for your engagement photoshoot
There are plenty of reasons why you should have an engagement shoot (more info on that here) but if you are as indecisive as me you will probably have thought to yourself "But what do I even wear?!"
There is no right or wrong answer to that but here are 3 tips to help you decide:
1. Wear clothes that make you feel confident.
At the end of the day, when you look back at the photographs, you will see 2 things; how you look and how you felt. I know that doesn't quite make sense (you can't literally see feelings) but the images you have will spark memories when you look at them. If you wear something that makes you feel like a million bucks then you will remember that feeling when you look at the photographs. Even if your 'million bucks' outfit is joggers and your favourite t-shirt.

2. Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable
I guess this point is similar to the first. Not only will you remember if you felt confident that day but you'll also remember if you felt comfortable. If you think you look nice in that smart shirt or new dress but you don't feel nice (maybe the shirt is scratchy or you can't actually breathe in the dress) then you will see that in images. Again, if the clothes that make you feel the most comfortable, and therefore happy, are your old joggers then you'll look at the photos and remember that amazing feeling.

3. Try and get a theme going
Now there is a risk with this one of going too far with it. You don't want to look like you are in fancy dress or like you have a uniform. What I'm talking about when I say 'theme' is more along the lines of a colour palette or similar patterns. It looks so aesthetically pleasing when a couple have complimenting colours. The couple below are a great example of this. They have gone for blues and blacks with brown shoes. The blues and blacks are actually different shades (although it's harder to tell with the black) but it works so well. They haven't over done it; they kept it simple and have totally aced it.
